My son made friends with a young person during the previous school year. He had invited him to our church youth group activities and further decided to invite him to Pine Lake. As a result, we met his parents at Pine Lake this summer so they could see where their child would be staying for a week. His mother later told me how happy and impressed she was with the camp itself, and more importantly, the staff. She told me that her son had been to other camps in the past, but she always felt that he was just a number to the staff, not a person. She couldn't believe that the counselors met and took interest in each of the kids when they arrived. I appreciate each and every one of the staff for the personal touches that they contribute to make Pine Lake such an awesome camp. These kids have these memories for a lifetime and each of you have given of yourselves so they can have this experience. Thank you!! -- Camper Parent
