Women’s Retreat (September 21-23, 2012)
Every day we need to recharge and then there are times when a few more hours are needed. This retreat is about leaving your responsibilities for a weekend and "recharging" with a group of women. Come with a group of your friends or meet some new ones. What is important is the relationships you form are strengthened while you are at Pine Lake. God wants to communicate with us and give us what we need to live out our lives in a way that pleases Him, serves Him and all those we love and serve.
SpeakerThis year's retreat is being planned by New Journey Community Church in Milford. More information about the retreat will be posted this Spring. HighlightsIncredible worship and challenging messages are the cornerstone of the weekend. Saturday afternoon offers many choices. Sign up for a craft, a massage, a manicure, or a turn on the rifle range! A variety of workshops will be offered on topics such as understanding conflict styles, 30-day meal planning, and deepening your relationship with God - just to name a few. What to BringIf you are staying in a cabin, bring a sleeping bag and a pillow. If you have special mobility or health needs, Parr Lodge would be for you and linens are provided. Other necessities: Bible, notebook, casual and warm clothes, walking shoes, rain gear, flashlight, toiletries - and don’t forget towels. |
